Menu Design, Art Direction, & Food Photography
As a member of the Marketing Team at Blue Plate, one of our main internal clients was the Delivery Team. While working on various projects for them, I identified an opportunity to enhance the visual appeal of our Delivery specials menus. I took initiative to propose and secured approval to modernize and revamp the design of these menus.
Following approval, I developed a versatile template that accommodated varying menu sizes, photo placements, color schemes, and other design elements. Each menu iteration maintained a cohesive visual identity while adapting to specific menu requirements and aesthetic considerations.
The redesigned menus received enthusiastic praise from both the Delivery Team and their clientele, significantly boosting orders for special menu items. This initiative not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also contributed to increased client satisfaction for the Delivery Team.
Along with designing the menus, I worked as art director, food stylist, and photographer in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator to create photo assets to use within these menus. See more about that on my food photography page here!
