While I was the Graphic Designer at Blue Plate, I assumed additional responsibilities due to our team's small size, including taking a leadership role in orchestrating food photo shoots. Collaborating closely with the Social Media Coordinator, I was involved in styling, directing artistic vision, and photographing dishes featured on our delivery menus. Our process began with selecting appropriate linens, dinnerware, and thematic props for specials menus. On the day of the shoot, we meticulously styled each setup to optimize visual appeal and placement, capturing compelling images.
Following the photo shoot sessions, I had the responsibility of curating the finest photographs and performing necessary post-production editing. Leading these photo shoots remains one of the most gratifying experiences that working within a small, cohesive team at Blue Plate gave me.
